How can we help you learn Arabic?

Here's the whole journey, from tapping the icon to your very first lesson.

1. Install Looga and open it.
2. Pick your app language (the menus, not what you're learning).
3. You'll see the Looga logo screen — the app quietly signs you in or sets up a guest account.
4. You land on the Home screen.
5. Choose what to learn first — Read Arabic or Speak Arabic.
6. A quick tutorial shows you the ropes.
7. 🎉 Start your first lesson!

What it is: The very first thing Looga asks is which language you want the menus and buttons to be in. (This is just the app's interface — you're still here to learn Arabic!)

1. Tap the language menu.
2. Scroll the list — Looga supports a very wide range of languages, each shown in its own script (e.g. "العربية (Arabic)" or "中文 (Chinese)").
3. Tap your language.
4. Tap Confirm.

Looga has three ways to be "logged in." You can always start as a guest and upgrade later.

Guest Account — play instantly

A free account created automatically the first time you open the app. You get full learning features right away — no email needed.

Registered Account recommended

A permanent account tied to your email. Your progress is saved to the cloud and works on any device.

1. Tap Profile / Account, then Sign Up (or Register when prompted).
2. Fill in the short form: name, email, password (at least 8 characters), and confirm the password.
3. Add optional details that personalize lessons (date of birth, country, current Arabic level).
4. Got a referral code from a friend? Enter it here.
5. Tap Continue / Complete.

Sign In With Partner — schools & institutions

If your school, university, or institute partners with Looga, sign in with your institutional email for free or discounted access.

1. Tap Sign In With Partner.
2. Enter your institutional email (the app recognizes your institution automatically).
3. First time? Set your name and a password.
4. You're in — your email is verified automatically.

Signing back in

1. Tap Sign In.
2. Enter your email and password.
3. Tick Remember Me to stay logged in on this device.
4. Forgot your password? Tap Forgot Password?, enter your email, and check your inbox (and spam folder) for a reset link.

Why it matters: Verifying your email protects your account and unlocks more features (and higher learning levels).

1. After you register, Looga emails you a verification link.
2. Open your email (check the spam/promotions folder too) and tap the link.
3. You'll see a "successfully verified" message — done!

During sign-up (or from your profile later) Looga asks a few quick questions so it can tailor your lessons:

• What you want to improve — reading, writing, speaking, comprehension, grammar, vocabulary.
• Your study pace — fast, relaxed, or "whenever I have time."
• When you like to study — morning, noon, evening, or late night (used to time gentle reminders).
• Which program interests you — game-based learning and/or speaking practice.

The Home screen is your hub. From here you can reach everything.

The bottom navigation bar

A row of buttons stays at the bottom of almost every screen so you can jump around instantly:

• 🏠 Home / Menu — back to the main hub.
• 🎓 Learn — your lessons and learning paths.
• 🎯 Practice / Review — flashcards and review.
• 👥 Community — ask, suggest, or report (tap & hold for all options).
• 🛒 Shop — hearts, coins, and subscriptions.

At the top you'll usually see your hearts, coins, and a profile/settings button.

How the course is organized

Looga's content is arranged like a staircase so you always know what's next:

• Ladders / Phases = big units (e.g. "The Alphabet," "Greetings").
• Lessons = the individual lessons inside each phase, done in order.
• Steps = the small pieces inside a lesson.

You unlock content in sequence — finish what you're on to open the next step. Looga always remembers exactly where you stopped.

Your Library

Your personal collection of everything you've learned — vocabulary, letters/sounds (phonetics), and grammar rules.

1. Open Library from the menu.
2. Switch between the Words, Letters, and Grammar tabs.
3. Tap any item to see its picture, meaning, and hear it pronounced.
4. Tap the ⭐ star to bookmark favorites.
5. Tap Load Flashcards to turn any group into a quick review game.

1. Tap Learn and choose your path or the next available lesson.
2. The lesson opens with instructions (often with audio — tap the 🔊 speaker to listen).
3. Work through each activity (see the next section for each type).
4. Check your answer when prompted:
   • ✅ Correct → encouragement, and often coins.
   • ❌ Wrong → you'll see the correct answer and an explanation, and you may lose a heart.
5. A progress bar shows dots: green = correct, red = missed, highlighted = where you are now.
6. Finish all the steps to see a Congratulations screen and your results.

Looga teaches through bite-sized game types. Here's how to play each one. Tap a type to expand it.

One of Looga's standout features: practice speaking real Arabic dialects out loud and get instant AI feedback on your pronunciation.

Step 1 — Pick a dialect / country

1. Open Speak Arabic.
2. Choose a country/dialect (Egyptian, Levantine, etc.).
3. Pick a module (themed track like "Greetings"), then a topic, then a phrase.

Step 2 — Learn the phrase

You'll see the English meaning, the Arabic, sometimes different versions for speaking to/as a man or a woman, and native-speaker audio.

• Tap 🔊 next to each version and listen 2–3 times before you try.
• Can't read Arabic script yet? Use the transliteration (Roman letters) as a guide.

Step 3 — Speak and get scored

1. Tap the microphone / Speak button. The first time, allow microphone access when your phone asks.
2. Hold the button and say the phrase clearly and naturally.
3. Release when done. You'll see "Processing with AI…" for a few seconds.
4. Your result appears as a score (0–100%) with a color:
   • 🔴 Low — keep practicing.
   • 🟠 Medium — getting there.
   • 🟢 High — excellent!
5. The screen shows what to say vs what you said, highlighting the parts you nailed and the parts to work on. Replay both to compare.
6. Tap Speak Again to retry — no limit on attempts.

Suggesting a dialect or phrase: Can't find one you want? Tap Suggest a Dialect or Suggest a Phrase, type your idea, and submit it to the team.

A dedicated track for reading Quranic Arabic, organized by Surah (chapter). Each Surah shows its English and Arabic name. Complete one to unlock the next. Listen carefully to the audio — Quranic pronunciation is precise.

❤️ Hearts — your "lives"

• Most interactive activities cost a heart only when you get an answer wrong.
• Reading/watching and teacher lessons never cost hearts.
• Hearts refill on their own over time, up to a maximum. The app shows a timer for your next free heart.
• Out of hearts? Wait for the refill, watch a short ad for one, buy some in the Shop, or subscribe for unlimited hearts.

🪙 Coins — your rewards

• Earn coins by completing lessons, claiming daily rewards, and (optionally) watching short ads.
• Spend them in the Shop — for example, to buy hearts.
• Coins never expire and are saved to your account.

🛒 The Shop

• Buy hearts or coins.
• Watch ads for free hearts or coins (daily limit applies).
• Subscribe for unlimited hearts and premium content.
• Get a One-Day Pass for 24 hours of unlimited hearts.
• Restore Purchases if you reinstalled or switched devices.

What it is: A reward you can collect once a day. Keep collecting on consecutive days to build a streak — the rewards get bigger as the week goes on.

1. Tap the gift / daily reward icon (usually on Home).
2. Today's reward is highlighted — tap to claim it.
3. Come back tomorrow for the next, bigger reward.

• Ladders are your visible progress path — a series of steps that light up green as you complete them. You move up one step at a time.
• Habibi Squad is a themed, community-flavored learning track made of multiple parts. Finish one part to unlock the next — just like the main ladder, with a social twist.

What's free vs. premium

How to subscribe

1. Open the Shop and tap Subscribe (or when a paywall appears).
2. Choose your plan (monthly, a limited-time special offer, or a One-Day Pass).
3. Confirm payment through your App Store / Google Play (on web, the secure checkout).
4. You'll see "Subscription Successful" and your hearts switch to unlimited.

Managing & cancelling

• Subscriptions auto-renew until you cancel.
• Cancel via your App Store (iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions) or Google Play (Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions). Web subscriptions are managed in your billing portal.
• You keep premium access until the end of the period you already paid for.

Perfect for parents and teachers: one subscription that covers several learners.

• Mini Team — you + 1 learner.
• Growth Team — you + up to 3 learners.

Each member gets full premium benefits, paid for by the team owner.

How to set up a team

1. Purchase a team plan (in the app's Shop, or on the web).
2. You're taken to Manage Team Members.
3. Enter each learner's email:
   • Already has a Looga account → added instantly.
   • New to Looga → enter their name; they get a welcome email with login details.
4. Watch everyone's progress on the Team Dashboard — daily completion, trophies, and the "winner of the day."

Add or remove members later: open Team → Manage Team, then add by email or tap the 🗑️ trash icon to remove someone.

Open Settings (the ⚙️ gear) to adjust:

• Dark Mode — easier on the eyes at night.
• Music — background music on/off.
• Sound effects — button taps and chimes on/off.
• Content sound — the Arabic pronunciation audio. Keep this ON for best learning.
• App language — change your interface language any time.
• Refresh Lessons Content — re-download lesson media if images or audio fail to load.

Notifications

Looga can gently remind you to collect your daily reward, tell you when hearts refill, and nudge you to practice. Manage these in your phone's settings (Android: Settings → Apps → Looga → Notifications; iPhone: Settings → Notifications → Looga). Keeping them on is the easiest way to protect your streak.

From Account you can:

• See your profile and account status (guest / registered / subscribed).
• Verify your email.
• Manage your subscription.
• Find and share your referral code — when a friend joins with it, you both earn rewards.
• Rate us on the app store.
• Log out, or delete your account.

Tap the Community area to:

• Ask a Question about a lesson or phrase.
• Suggest a Dialect or Suggest a Phrase you'd like added.
• Report an Error if something looks wrong in a lesson.
• Send general app suggestions.

If you're brand new, here's the simplest way to get going and actually stick with it.

Your first 10 minutes

1. Pick your app language and let Looga open to the Home screen.
2. Choose "Read Arabic" as your first path — it builds the letters and sounds everything else depends on.
3. Do the quick tutorial, then complete one lesson. That's it — you've started! 🎉

Your first day

4. Register an account (Profile → Sign Up). Protects your progress, takes a minute. Your guest progress comes with you.
5. Verify your email so nothing limits you later.
6. Claim your daily reward before you close the app.

Your first week

7. Do one short lesson a day and collect your daily reward each time — this builds your streak and your habit.
8. Once letters feel familiar, try a Speak Arabic phrase and use the microphone. Hearing your pronunciation score is genuinely fun and motivating.
9. Keep notifications on so you never accidentally break your streak.

When you're ready for more
